Association of Management Information Systems (AMIS)The Association of Management Information Systems (AMIS) is the student professional organization in the Fox School of Business and Management, which is designed to promote the professional development of any student interested in Management Information Systems. Membership and events are open to any Temple University student with an interest in MIS. AMIS offers students the opportunity to network with students interested in MIS, the MIS faculty, MIS alumni, as well as key members of the MIS community. Some of the events that are held yearly include mock interviews with individuals in MIS positions in industry, MIS course discussion groups, MIS speakers, social events, fund raising activities, and community service events. The AMIS general meetings typically take place at 11:40 am-12:30 pm during the Fox School free period. For more information, and to check specific meeting days, visit the website http://www.temple.edu/amis/ or send an email to TUAMIS@gmail.com The site is intended for current and prospective BBA in MIS majors. The site is informational only – the information in the site does not supersede existing Temple or Fox School procedures and requirements. If there is a discrepancy, then the official Temple or Fox School source for the information takes priority over the information in this site. The information in this site is updated once a year.
